Bible Reading Plan (Day 93)

Hello this is AgeMan, and like Bro Berry said, I’ll be taking over the Daily Bible Readings while he is gone fulling the great commission (^_^)

DAY NINETY-THREE — Leviticus 7, Psalms 7-8

Leviticus 7

On previous chapters the LORD thus said to Moses in detail every sacrifice that they were commanded to do. You got your burnt offerings, sin offerings, guilt offerings, grain offerings, ordination offering, peace offerings and so on.

On this chapter the LORD continues to give Aaron and his sons laws for what they are to do with each offering. God commanded the offerings while they were still at Mount Sinai, and them offerings will be carried out through many generations by the sons of Aaron.

Psalm 7 + 8

Psalm 7 clearly shows that those who are righteous, in other words those who have faith in the Lord (because through Christ God the Father sees us as righteous), we have refuge in the LORD, and his Holy Just anger does not abide in us. But for the unrighteous and the wicked, God’s wrath abides upon them. Psalm 7:12 “If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword; he has bent and readied his bow.”

I think that Psalm 8 is a great resource to assure us of the Doctrine of Creation. I mean you don’t need to add gaps to “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Why would you when the God of the universe has it all together by his majesty? But as David said on verse 1, “Oh LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” I believe that we take delight on what God has created and we just can’t help but to say, “How Majestic is his name!” Even though we are wretched God is still mindful of us!
