All Hail Broke Loose! (Part 2)

by

So, yesterday you saw us start up Angel’s Landing. The clouds were looking threatening, but the views drove one to worship the Creator.  Did it rain? Did we make it to the top? Could the views be even MORE breathtaking? Just click on “Continue Reading” and find out!

Due to rain the past few days the canyon was littered with waterfalls. This one was up at Angel's Landing.

Yup! There's water on the trail! fortunately we can squeeze by it on the outside.

The sound of this was beyond adjective. It is the top of the waterfall you saw yesterday in the far picture of Angel's Landing.

Shortly after this picture was taken, something strange happened. Stuff from the sky began to fall on us! I’m not sure what it was, but I can only assume it was unflavoured Dippin’ Dots. That was about the size, shape, texture, and tase of them. They fell in an amazing quantity. Considering God gave myself and my bro enough sense not to be out when you are getting hit with little ice pellets, we turned back down the trail just before we hit Walter’s Wiggles. But there were problems…

Apparently you add more water and the waterfalls get bigger!

That’s the same waterfall you saw a few pictures ago that we were able to wiggle around. Not so much this time. You can imagine what happned when he had to go through it….

That was after trying to run through it! The water was pouring hard.

So soaking wet we kept going back down…

There were LOTS of these puppies out and about while we were there. If only I had a crossbow...

After getting back to the car we went ahead and drove about the scenic loop.

The following photos are of a waterfall coming down over Weeping Rock.

If that’s not enough to knock your socks off, here’s what we saw when we got to Temple of Sinawava, the end of the scenic drive.

Big un'!

Of course… after an exciting day like this, what’s left but to go back to the hotel and get blurry reading some Bible before bed?
